Dancing Poppies painting

Original ‘Dancing Poppies’ painting

This is an original watercolour painting of curved poppies. I’ve always loved poppies because of their colour, symbolism and historical connotations. You know it’s summer when poppies appear in their full bloom decorating the countryside. The curved shape of the poppies gives them the illusion of dancing, hence the name. The painting measures 21cm (width) by 28.6cm (height) in its natural form and appears on 250g/m² Daler Rowney mixed media paper. I don’t offer full framing, but this painting can be mounted on request. Mounting costs extra. If you would prefer a mounted print, contact me directly.
