I am so excited to reveal my latest painting called ‘Amsterdam’. I have been working on this painting for the last few months, so I am both relieved and sad that the process is now over.
I was inspired to create a painting of Amsterdam after a trip there in late 2017. I was mesmerised by the food, art, culture, canals and of course the bikes! My photos were only okay, so I took a reference photo from photographer Rob Shenk on Instagram.
This piece really allowed me to practice my watercolour painting skills and draw so many different things at once!
- Faber-Castell Graphite sketch set
- Aquafine A4 watercolour paper – 300g/m2
- Marie’s watercolours
- Graduate paintbrushes
I hope you love this piece as much as I do! If you would like a print or a specific commission, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
